  • Blue Belles is the varsity dance team at Leander High School. Blue Belles is double-blocked (1st & 5th periods), perform multiple times each month, and is a spirit organization at Leander High.

    Sapphires is the non-varsity performance company at Leander High School. Sapphires is single blocked and perform approximately once a month. SPC is less of a time commitment and allows involvement in other activities/clubs, and works great with the IB schedule.

  • Blue Belles is a full 10-month season commitment, full of performances, events, and more! Blue Belles is double blocked, have daily rehearsals, perform multiple times throughout the year - last year we performed 134 times!

    Sapphires Performance Co. was created for students who love to perform, but who also want be involved in other organizations/sports/activities. Sapphires is single-blocked, mostly rehearse during the school day, and perform approximately once a month.

  • Sapphires Performance Company - Auditions for Sapphires is in March. The season goes from July - May.

    Blue Belles - Auditions for Blue Belles are in December. The training season begins in January (Baby Belles). New members will officially begin performing in August at the beginning of the school year. The Varsity season goes from July - May.

  • Blue Belles - Your daughter will audition in December for the following year’s teams. There is no waiting-period for your daughter to be eligible for either team.

    Sapphires - Your daughter will audition in March for the following year’s team. There is no waiting-period for your daughter to be eligible for either team.

    For both teams, the transfer paperwork is required to be completed. You can access that paperwork by emailing the directors.

  • We strongly recommend working on your dance technique leading up to auditions. In addition to many local dance studios in the area, we offer technique classes in the afternoons during the fall for our students, and dance clinics to help you prep for auditions. Keep an eye out on our social media for opportunities!
